Why Believe

Throughout its 30-year history, Legal Voice has improved the lives of millions of individuals in the five Northwest states through groundbreaking litigation and landmark legislation championing the cause of justice for women. Thanks to the contributions of more than 2,500 generous supporters and 175 or more volunteers who commit their time, energy and resources each year, we have clinched 300 victories in the courts for women and their families!

Since our founding, Legal Voice has also fielded more than 96,000 calls from women with nowhere else to turn for help in solving legal problems threatening their health, safety, and well-being. In addition, over the last 15 years we have distributed at least 37,000 packets of free legal information to women and men who cannot afford attorneys.
